FREEPORT, Grand Bahama -- The Keep Grand Bahama Clean (KGBC) committee, in conjunction with the Grand Bahama Port Authority, Limited (GBPA), kicked off third anniversary celebrations with a clean-up campaign in the Yeoman Wood subdivision on Saturday October 3rd.

Customs Department honours former staff in Grand Bahama anniversary celebrations
In celebration of the 109th Anniversary of the Bahamas Customs Department during the month of March, Customs officers marked the milestone on Sunday and paraded from the Smith’s Point entrance to St. Jude’s Anglican Church where they gathered for worship. Fourteen older living former Customs staff were honoured during the service which was followed by a luncheon.
